Well, I don’t actually have one yet, but I’m announcing it! Now, I don’t know anything about filmmaking yet….. I’ll be learning as I go….. and you can learn with me. So PLEASE COMMENT if you see me doing something wrong. Awesome!!!!!!!!
Zoe!

So I don’t know much about motion photography, however I know quite a bit about still photography, seeing that I am wanting to become a wedding photographer
So three pieces of advice:
1. First and foremost Practice. Practice. Practice. Shoot (with a camera!) something every day. Multiple times a day. Then practice some more. This is how you get better.
2. Check out websites like
http://digital-photography-school.com/tips
http://digital-photography-school.com/5-tips-for-controlling-natural-light#more-35417
http://www.photographymad.com/pages/view/10-top-photography-composition-rules
Not all of the articles are applicable to motion photography, but quite a few are.
3. Go watch a movie. Yes, and make sure it is a really big budget movie with stunning photography. Examine how it was shot, and take your cues from them. You can learn a whole lot this way. Another option is to read photography blogs like http://www.jasminestarblog.com/index.cfm You won’t learn as much through this because it is still photography.
Keep up the good work!
